I have a handful of photos of my Bohemian grandfather's uncle in an Austro-Hungarian uniform (on maneuvers or assembling for war). All I know of that relative is that he died of typhus during the war. Bela was a graphic artist working in Budapest when the war broke out. It's a great read with maps and copious footnotes.
