The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving America’s army and supporters of a strong national defense. As part of their outreach program to remember and share America's military heritage, they are producing a series of high quality graphic accounts of the deeds of the nation's Medal of Honor recipients. All of them can be downloaded for free as PDF files or read online. Of the 17 volumes produced thus far, 4 are from the First World War. Below are the covers and few sample pages of the four from the Great War. Links for the downloads are presented under the covers, and a link to the full set of 17 can be found at the bottom of the page.

Excellent! Great educational material! We are looking at REAL Superhero'es from that age and long before Marvel and DC comics. Every man had humble beginnings too.
