I usually don't  like fancy online presentations, but the Arras tourism folks have put together a SIMPLY FABULOUS presentation about the remarkable engineering feat of turning an abandoned quarry into an 8-kilometer long launch pad for the April 1917 offensive. Without further ado:

    Very interesting, but I do not think the the Battle of Arras was that successful.
